About Ian

I’ve worked in financial services since 1996, beginning my career with a high-street lender as a mortgage underwriter. I’ve been giving mortgage advice since 2004. I’ve also worked as a business development manager for a leading provider of life and critical illness insurance.

I enjoy working with a broad range of clients, but I find working with first-time buyers particularly rewarding.

I live with my partner and our Lilac Oriental Shorthair cat, who’s undoubtedly the head of the household! I have an interest in history and historical buildings and am a National Trust member.

I’ve been car-mad for my entire life and enjoy classic shows and various forms of motorsport.

Being the first member of staff (in a previous role) to be awarded the CeMAP qualification.

Coming up with creative solutions for my clients that enable them to pay off their mortgage years before they expected. The intricacies involved in presenting a perfectly packaged mortgage application to a lender. Providing a quality of service to my clients that makes them customers for life.
